Some Quick Thoughts…
The past six months have seen a flurry of activity at the airport and one area that has been sorely lacking was a mechanism to broadcast out updates to the Tenants and stakeholders of High River Regional Airport.
It is my goal to have this newsletter sent out on a monthly cycle updating the Stakeholders as to the latest changes, however if you don’t wish to received these, please use the unsubscribe link at the bottom.
The Board has been hard at work to bring core improvements to the Airport with the most recent being the approval of vendor to treat the surface of the runway. More information will be shared as details are confirm and a date is set.
The CFIB and Beacon are still in active development, the former is a victim of supply issues and the latter is awaiting on an engineered solution.
There will also be new improvements to the website, with some advanced functionality which should see some quality of life improvements to tenants and business owners at the airport. There are some exciting things in store, which I should be able to talk about during the next edition.
Until then, I would like to make a request for anyone who would like to contribute to the new website. We re currently looking for images. If you are able to help, please submit them to AIRMAIL@HIGHRIVERAIRPORT.CA
Currently there are currently minimal images of the airport that can be used on the site. If the Airport is able to obtain new images it is recommend to capture wide-angle photographs with an image width of at least 1,310 pixels and a height of at least 650 pixels.
Some ideal shots include:
- Images of the runway at different angles
- Images of the hangar at different angles
- Images of planes parked in the hangar or outside of the hanger
- Images of a plane taking off or landing
